Drive Spotter Selected for Techstars Mobility Program 2016

We’re happy to announce we’ve been invited to join the Techstars Mobility Class of 2016. We will work alongside eleven other companies this summer in Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions.

We will be living and working in downtown Detroit for the summer.
The Techstars Mobility program is housed inside of Ford Field stadium!

The Techstars Mobility program will provide our team the opportunity to gain valuable feedback and customer insights on our real-time video search engine platform. This platform enables fleet managers, vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies and others to gain valuable insights about driver behavior, vehicle movement and the surrounding environment; especially as it pertains to human and autonomous driving.

We are tremendously grateful to the many people and the many organizations that have been instrumental in working with us since launching last year. Most of all, we thank our friends and families who have been supportive, understanding, and most of all patient as our team put in a lot of work and a lot of travel to make today possible.

The Techstars Mobility program opens on June 13th and wraps up with a public demo from us and the other eleven cohort companies on September 8th, 2016 at the Detroit Opera House. This event is open to the public and we invite you to join us that day in Detroit!

Drive Spotter, a Techstars backed company, was founded in 2015 by Chris Augeri and Andrew Prystai. Their team is supported by two additional board members, Kurt Eaves, Grinnell Mutual’s Vice President of Underwriting, and Marty Ellingsworth, the former president of Verisk ISO, a leading supplier of data to the insurance industry.

Drive Spotter is a Global Insurance Accelerator (GIA) alumnus and previously closed a $750,000 financing round led by Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance, a multi-state insurance and reinsurance company, along with Voss Distributing, a multi-state Red Bull distributor and select private investors. Drive Spotter’s mission is to build the world’s leading real-time video search engine.

We encourage you to register for our newsletter, to follow @drivespotter, @sendbits and @aprystai on Twitter and like our team on Facebook to track our Techstars experiences!
